through its 100 years of
dedicated service and
hard work has
contributed greatly
towards enhancing
agricultural production
in our country. It is an
academic community
dedicated to
intellectual, physical
as well as spiritual
growth and has grown
into a professional
educational institution
with an environment of
Christian concern.
SHIATS as a multi
faculty university has
provided education
through its vision of
“Gospel & Plow” and the
Mission “Feed the
Hungry” and it's Motto
“Serve the Land”. With a
centenary of years
having passed, the
university has grown,
developed and has
attained significant
level of academic
achievement both
nationally and globally.
Today it imparts vibrant
learning environment to
more than 8000 students
and more than 1100 staff
members all drawn from
various cultural
backgrounds.
The University is
committed to providing
equal right of education
regardless of economic
and social status and
does not discriminate in
any policies, programmes
and activities on the
basis of gender, age,

With these words of
university background
and in present scenario,
I pray God that with our

for guidance and
blessings for the Bible
