The Career
Planning and Counseling Centre (CPCC) have been established
with the objectives to see that the University students have
a fair chance to be face to face with the Companies /
Industries / Institution, which offer them employment CPCC
facilitate the process of providing a common platform for
the jobseeker and the employers at the University and also
to counsel students about the changing trends in employment
scenario, which changes from time to time.

The Functions
The Career Planning and Counseling Centre make lists of
various companies and begin contacting them via email,
postal deliverance of various published materials, directly
speaking to them on telephone and personally visiting to the
various companies.
The centre has made a marked change in the scenario of the
placement activities, keeps the students informed about
potential job opportunities with respect to the market
scenario for their future career and guides them for the
employability. Since inception of the CPCC and the span of
four (4) years with his sincere efforts, centre is able to
develop relations with most of the companies who are
visiting for campuses regularly.

THE FINISHING SCHOOL
In today's world of stiff competition the prospective
employees (students) have to develop a variety of skills,
which help them to reach greater heights in their career and
the employer starts having faith on their working abilities.
The Finishing School which helps the students to get
acquainted with the soft and professional skills which is
the most important and essential in the corporate world as
this will also help to get a large numbers of students
placed in the companies. Skills are taught to students
through professional individuals and institutions.
CPCC with the approval of University authorities have tied
up with 'Aspire Human Capital Management (P) Ltd. and
started the training classes from 2010-2011 academic
session.
ELITE CLUB
“ELITE CLUB” was formed in 2007, whose membership is from
those students who have procured jobs for themselves. They
may have been selected either at “On campus” or “Off campus”
recruitment or have obtained from any other sources.
The purpose of this club is to initiate an attitude of
cordial relationship with junior and senior students. They
become members of the club when they receive the appointment
letters from their employer.
They should willingly give a talk to students about their
performance and their interview experience. They should
serve as guide to their fellow student's community.
A directory which contains all relevant information will be
published for these students. A grand get-together in formal
clothing is organized for these Elite members and a group
photographs is taken and given to individual member as a
souvenir. ELITE CLUB has grown year by year and we have 1586
students on the membership role.

The Officers
The CPCC is headed by Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Tripathi Dean,
Career Planning & Counseling Centre, with over 19 years of
teaching experience, besides teaching he is interacting with
students at various levels. He has a good relationship with
the Companies / Industries.
To support and share the responsibilities following officers
are employed in the Centre.
Mr. R.C. Sahai designated as Senior Career Planner
and Placement Officer has a vast experience of 30 years in
industries and education field. He has large industrial
relationship networking.
Mr. D.K.S. Jaiswal designated as Career Planner, is a
Mechanical Engineer from IIT BHU, who has been on the
faculty of the department of an institution, before joining
this University in CPCC. He is a technical professional,
having a long innings of working with multinational core
engineering organization along with a higher degree of
industrial relationship networking.
Mr. Ravi Shanker Ojha is a Public Relation Associate
who interacts with the industries and has a good experience.
Ms. Deepti Tanya Failbus designated as Corporate
Relation Officer and has a good exposure to the industries.
Ms. Dolly Prasad is a HR Assistant. |
